When creating the piece “Synergy”, the artist Diosa (Jasmina Cazacu), was reflecting on all the diverse elements that come together to make up the universe.  The uniqueness that each element in our cosmos embodies creates the perfect conditions for an abundance and variety of life to flourish on Earth.  Diosa personified the cosmic elements by  imagining them as fantastical creatures all contributing their individual magic to bring about conditions for life. The artist encourages her audience to consider this imagery as a metaphor for diversity and inclusivity. When we are open to embracing differences and ensuring each distinct element has a voice, people/ideas can come together in balance, peace, and harmony to create something far more potent and beautiful than what they could have separately.
